As vice president for North America, Mike Crimmins is responsible for all sales and off-net buying activities throughout North America. Mike brings to iBasis over 13 years of telecommunications and carrier sales experience. Prior to joining iBasis in 1999 as North American Sales Director, Mike previously served as Director of Sales for DirectNet Telecommunications where he managed the company's wholesale carrier sales force focused on building and selling an international network. He also managed DirectNet's strategic customer base, which included numerous U.S. tier one carriers and foreign PTTs. Mike also spent more than five years at AT&T where he worked his way up through the AT&T commercial sales divisions and ultimately became a National Account Manager in AT&T's National Profile Accounts division. Mike got his start in Telecommunications in 1991 in New York City as a Commercial Sales Representative for Allnet Telecommunications. He holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University.
