As Vice President for Latin America, Juan Ramos is responsible for all day-to-day operations of iBasis' Latin America sales team, including selling iBasis services to carriers and developing new partnerships for termination within the region.
Since 2000, Juan worked to secure relationships for iBasis with major carriers in the region including AES Antel, Cantv, Embratel, Entel Chile, Impsat, Intelig, Orbitel, Telecom Argentina, Telecom Colombia, Telefonica and Telesp. Juan brings to iBasis more than 15 years of experience in marketing, business development and entrepreneurial leadership.
Previously, Juan was Marketing Director at S.C.Johnson and Sons in Canada, USA, and Argentina. A wine enthusiast, Juan also founded a successful winery in Argentina. Juan holds a Master of Business Administration degree, from IESE, Barcelona, Spain and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School. Juan also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Tucuman, Argentina.
