Eelco Blok, Board of Management, Royal KPN
Mr. Blok was elected to the iBasis Board in September 2007. He has been a member of the Board of Management of Royal KPN since June 1, 2006 and is responsible for its fixed division. Mr. Blok joined Royal KPN in 1983 and has held various management positions: Director of Royal KPN's departments Carrier Services, Corporate Networks, Royal KPN's Fixed Net Operator and Corporate Strategy & Innovation. Most recently, Mr. Blok was Chief Operating Officer for the fixed division. Mr. Blok was earlier appointed a member of the Board of Management from April until December 2004.
Robert H. Brumley
Mr. Brumley was elected to the board of directors in September, 2005. Mr. Brumley is president and CEO of TerreStar Networks, an emerging provider of advanced mobile satellite services. Prior to joining TerreStar, Mr. Brumley was founder and managing member of Pegasus Global LLC, an international development and advisory services firm specializing in technology, capital formation, and market strategies and solutions for domestic and international companies. Mr. Brumley has also held executive management positions at leading telecommunications carriers including Deutsche Telekom, Bell Atlantic, and Cambrian Communications, a wholesale metropolitan area network provider. His responsibilities in those positions included strategic planning and direction, global business development, and legal affairs. Previously, as an international law practitioner, Mr. Brumley helped clients develop international business relationships in the fast-growing regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Asia. As General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce, appointed by President Reagan, Mr. Brumley was the chief legal officer of the Department and senior policy advisor to the Secretary of Commerce.
Charles Corfield, Founder,
Frame Technology
Mr. Corfield has been a director of iBasis since September
1997. Since 1999, Mr. Corfield has been a director
of BeVocal and since 2000, the Chief Executive Officer
of SandCherry Networks. Mr. Corfield serves on the
board of directors of Liberate Technologies, a web-based,
enhanced television company. Mr. Corfield co-founded
Frame Technology, a software company, in 1986 and
was a member of its board of directors and its Chief
Technology Officer until it was acquired by Adobe
Systems in 1995.
Joost Farwerck, Segment Director, Wholesale Voice Services & Operations, Royal KPN
Mr. Farwerck was elected to the iBasis Board in September 2007. He has been Director of Segment Wholesale Voice Services & Operations at Royal KPN since January 1, 2006. Prior to that time, from 2003 to 2005, Mr. Farwerck was Director of Royal KPN's Department of Carrier Services. Prior to 2003, Mr. Farwerck was secretary of the Royal KPN-Board.
Ofer
Gneezy, President, CEO & Chairman of the Board
Ofer Gneezy is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of iBasis, a leader in international long distance, VoIP, and prepaid calling cards. As co-founder of iBasis in 1996, Mr. Gneezy is one of the true visionaries of the IP telephony industry and a recipient of Pulver.com's Industry Pioneer Award. Ofer was named Best Business Leader for 2007 in the annual Capacity Magazine awards. He was an early believer in the power of the Internet to change global telecommunications and quickly established iBasis as the first provider of toll-quality Voice-over-IP (VoIP) service.
Prior to founding iBasis, Mr. Gneezy was president of Acuity Imaging, Inc., a multinational leader in industrial automation technology. Mr. Gneezy led Acuity to achieve significant increases in earnings, revenues and stockholder equity before successfully orchestrating the company's acquisition by RVSI, the second-largest company in the industry. The acquisition provided Acuity with strong financial backing and access to the semiconductor industry while delivering liquidity to Acuity investors. Previously, as president and CEO of Automatix, Inc., Mr. Gneezy led the turnaround of the company to growth and sustained quarterly profitability and managed its merger with Itran, Inc. to form Acuity. Mr. Gneezy is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration and has an M.S. in engineering from M.I.T.

Frank King, Member of the Board of Directors
Dr. King has held senior executive positions at industry-leading
technology companies, including IBM, where his last
position was Vice President of the Entry Systems Division,
and Lotus Development Corp., where as Senior Vice
President of Development he was responsible for the
company’s suite of PC-based software applications.
From 1992 to 1998 Dr. King was CEO and a Director
of Concero, Inc., formerly PSW Technologies, Inc.,
an e-business services firm. Dr. King currently serves
on the Board of Directors of Aleri Inc., eOn Communications
Corp., Concero, NMS Communications Corp. (formerly
Natural MicroSystems), and Perficient, Inc. King earned
his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton
University and holds a master’s degree in electrical
engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor’s
degree in electrical engineering from the University
of Florida.
Gordon
J. VanderBrug, Executive Vice President
As
co-founder, Executive Vice President and Assistant Secretary of iBasis,
Gordon VanderBrug shares overall responsibility for
the company's financial performance with Ofer Gneezy
and in addition, oversees the company's marketing
initiatives. Prior to founding iBasis with Gneezy,
Gordon VanderBrug served as director of marketing
for Polaroid Corporation where he led the development
of new businesses in the digital systems marketplace
for the $2.5 billion company. He was also directly
responsible for developing and executing the system
and software components of the company's strategy
to "transition" its markets from photographically-based
solutions to digitally-based solutions. Previously,
VanderBrug was vice president at Language Technology,
Inc., a pioneering company in the field of software
development tools. VanderBrug led the development
and marketing of new products and services and established
business relationships with numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to Language Technology, Inc., VanderBrug was
a co-founder of Automatix, Inc., one of the early and
key suppliers of industrial automation systems that
pioneered the introduction of microprocessors to the
factory floor. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science
from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in mathematics
from Wayne State University and a B.A. in mathematics
from Calvin College.
