iBasis CEO to Discuss Trends Driving Growth Opportunities in Wholesale and Retail VoIP at NYSSA Conference

BURLINGTON, MA— November 1, 2004 — iBasis, Inc. (OTCBB: IBAS), ), a leader in international long distance, VoIP, and prepaid calling cards, today announced that company President and CEO Ofer Gneezy will discuss the major trends in international telecommunications that are helping to drive the Company's growth in wholesale and retail services using VoIP. Mr. Gneezy's presentation will take place at the NYSSA Telecom Conference in New York on Friday, November 5, 2004.
