PremiumCertified provides call termination to more than 700 international destinations on routes that are Certified by iBasis as matching or exceeding the company's Retail Quality Index™ (RQI). iBasis created the RQI by combining benchmark call completion and duration standards acquired from leading retail carriers and requirements from our most demanding retail customers. Routes are Certified when they have met or exceeded the RQI consistently over a two-week period, and they are continuously monitored and managed to maintain that quality. The result is stable high quality over a large number of international destinations.

Pro-active Monitoring and Quality Management

PremiumCertified routes are actively managed by iBasis to maintain performance within 5% of the RQI. By monitoring the PremiumCertified routes 24/7 and in real time, iBasis network operations center (NOC) specialists are able to anticipate potential problems, as well as immediately address trouble reports to maintain quality at the benchmark levels. In routing retail voice traffic, iBasis utilizes its direct interconnections to more than 100 countries as well as the direct interconnections of Tier One providers for back-up, overflow, and for destinations not directly accessible from the iBasis network.
